Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonah Solis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Almighty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonah Solis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rufus Almighty!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almighty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Solis feinted with a counter takedown.
Almighty misses with a few strikes there.
Almighty tries to work over Solis's front leg with a kick but Solis checks it.
Solis half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Almighty shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Solis napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Almighty feints and as Solis raises his hands in defense, Almighty changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Almighty throws a right and a left that Solis avoids nicely.
Solis drops down looking for a counter takedown but Almighty sprawls and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Solis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rufus Almighty showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oh Solis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Solis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Almighty pushes Solis off and gets back to his feet.
Almighty throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Solis's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Almighty dives in looking to finish as Solis flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Almighty's strikes! Almighty is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Solis's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Solis was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
