Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Martel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itagaki Fukuzawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fukuzawa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In Flames - Colony kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Martel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fukuzawa throws out the jab.
Martel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fukuzawa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Martel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charles Martel.
Well Martel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
