Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trang Troc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Saurus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Troc comes to the cage accompanied by Dr. Octagon - Real Raw. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
29 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trang Troc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

30 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Saurus!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troc throws a right and a left that Saurus avoids nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Troc. Saurus does a little dance to reset his feet.
Saurus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Saurus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Saurus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Troc throws a big counter combination but Saurus scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

and Troc counters by clinching up.
Trang Troc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Saurus.
Troc tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Saurus on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Saurus has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Troc avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Saurus is working for takedown but Troc is calmly controlling the position for now.
Saurus is trying to drag Troc to the mat but Troc just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Troc lands an elbow inside that Saurus shrugs off.

Troc tries to work over Saurus's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Saurus has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Troc is trying to keep an underhook but Saurus manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Saurus looks to land a strike but Troc avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Troc has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Saurus is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Saurus takes a shot to the head.
Saurus blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Troc is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Saurus tries for a takedown but Troc manages to get underhooks.

Troc is fighting off a takedown attempt but Saurus is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Troc to the mat. Troc regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Saurus throws an elbow that misses. Troc uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Saurus's guard. Nice move by Troc!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Saurus is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Troc is controlling him.

Saurus has his feet on Troc's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Saurus takes a kick to the side of the head.
Saurus throws a hook to the side of Troc's head but Troc sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Troc is looking to counter the offense by Saurus and move into the clinch.
Saurus throws out a powerful jab.
Troc looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A head kick misses from Troc.
Saurus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Troc as he avoids it easily.
Troc scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Troc throws a body punch but Saurus moves out of range.
Saurus smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Saurus shoots in and bounces Troc off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Saurus throws a strike but Troc rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Saurus can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Troc controls the pace.
Troc wants to pass the guard but Saurus is keeping the position.
Saurus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Troc trying to control the position from guard on top but Saurus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Saurus wants to get back to his feet but Troc is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Troc wants to stand but Saurus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Saurus is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Saurus pushes Troc off and scrambles back to his feet.
Frank Saurus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saurus scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The strikes coming from Saurus are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Troc tries to improve position but can't.
Saurus goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Troc rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Saurus's guard! Nice work there by Troc!

Trang Troc dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Saurus misses with a double jab
and Troc counters with a nice uppercut.
Troc scores with a crisp jab that stopped Saurus in his tracks.
Saurus connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Troc staying out of range there.
Troc connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Troc with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Saurus throws an off balance right hand
and Troc counters with a right hand to the body.
Saurus scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Saurus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Saurus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Troc as he avoids it easily.

and Troc counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Troc takes a jab right on the kisser.

Saurus throws a right hand that misses
and Troc counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Saurus shoots in for a takedown but Troc shows good takedown defense.
Saurus is breathing heavily.
Troc connects with an inside leg kick.
Troc closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Troc gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Saurus.
Trang Troc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Saurus.
Saurus wants to take the fight to the mat but Troc manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Troc is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Saurus can do to turn this around?
Saurus is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Troc moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Jumping up and down and very excited, Trang Troc waved his t-shirt featuring Hellbent 's logo in front of the cameras.
