Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Nix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dexter Berg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyler Nix! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nix tries a head kick but it misses.
Berg shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nix sprawls well. Nix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Berg gets slowly back to his feet. Berg fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nix lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Berg shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Nix counters with a head kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dexter Berg. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Berg fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nix misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nix tries a head kick but it misses.
Berg decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nix manages to get to full guard.
Berg with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Berg really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nix keeping full guard, as Berg tries to pass. Berg stops Nix from standing up. Berg gets to his feet. Nix looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Nix tries to sprawl but Berg drives through with a takedown into half guard. Berg lands with a punch from half guard. Berg is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nix is just riding it out for now. Berg eventually gives up the hold. Berg stands up and beckons Nix to join him on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nix uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Berg.
Horrible takedown attempt by Berg or perhaps it was just good defense by Nix, which made it look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nix circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Berg drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Nix follows Berg to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyler Nix!
