Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Monterrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daouda Kaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Monterrey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Daouda Kaho! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaho misses with a head kick.
Monterrey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kaho moves away. Good work by Monterrey as he checks the leg kick. A leg kick checked by Monterrey. Monterrey looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Monterrey gets a clinch. Monterrey is trying to stall.
Monterrey misses with a knee strike.
Kaho is looking to control Monterrey's arms but Monterrey gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kaho has his back to the cage. Kaho looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A short left from Monterrey. Monterrey throws a knee to the head but misses.
Monterrey lands a knee to the body.
Kaho is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kaho wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Monterrey lands a body punch in the clinch. Monterrey lands on the inside with an uppercut. Kaho escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Monterrey scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Daouda Kaho has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kaho throws a combination that misses and Monterrey counters by clinching up. Monterrey misses with an elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaho is looking to break free of the clinch but Monterrey has double underhooks. Kaho tries to circle away but Monterrey has him pinned against the cage. Monterrey gets through Kaho's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Still in the clinch, Monterrey scores with a nice short uppercut. Monterrey using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Kaho looks winded! Kaho wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Monterrey keeps control of Kaho as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A shot in the inside from Monterrey. Monterrey working the clinch nicely. Kaho is working for position but Monterrey cracks him with a big knee to the head! Kaho crumples up against the cage and Monterrey lands two more shots before the ref can save Kaho! This one is all over!

A very excited looking John Monterrey made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
