Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kieth Valdez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iwill Killu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kieth Valdez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iwill Killu! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killu clinches with his opponent.
Killu breaks from the clinch.
Iwill Killu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valdez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Killu tries to counter by closing the distance. Killu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Valdez moves away. It looked like Valdez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Killu is looking to slow Valdez down with leg kicks. Valdez gets caught napping as Killu dives in and scores a takedown. Valdez manages to retain guard. Valdez is pulling down on Killu's head. It's preventing any offense from Killu, at least for the moment. Valdez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Valdez is trying to keep Killu in close.
Killu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Valdez thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Killu slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Valdez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Killu moves away. Valdez lands a slapping body shot.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Valdez enables Killu to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Valdez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Killu looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Killu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Valdez works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Killu prevents Valdez from getting back to his feet. Valdez controls Killu momentarily but Killu frees himself. Killu throws a big right hand that misses. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Valdez keeping full guard, as Killu tries to pass.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Killu gets a double leg takedown into Valdez's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killu trying to control but Valdez is working from the bottom. Valdez pulls Killu in close to his closed guard and prevents Killu from doing any damage or advancing position. Valdez is trying to keep Killu in close.
Valdez is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Valdez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Killu trying to control the position from guard on top but Valdez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Valdez has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Killu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valdez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Killu shoots in and gets a takedown into Valdez's guard. Killu looking to sit in guard and control but Valdez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Valdez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Killu works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Valdez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iwill Killu dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Killu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Killu has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Valdez wants to control but Killu is having none of it. Poor strikes thrown by Killu there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Lucky escape for Valdez because Killu loaded up on that one. Killu trying to control but he's not successful this time. Valdez tries to hold on but Killu postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Killu trying to control but he's not successful this time. Valdez sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Killu is thwarting Valdez's attempts to control the position. Valdez is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valdez trying to hold on to Killu's head to control him but Killu postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice body punch from Killu. Valdez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Valdez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Valdez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Valdez with a flurry of punches that miss. Killu tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killu has his foot on Valdez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Valdez works his way back into a safe position though. Valdez stopping the sweep attempt from Killu. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Killu is breathing heavily. Valdez throwing strikes from guard but Killu blocks nicely.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Killu gets a double leg takedown into Valdez's guard. Valdez trying to strike off his back.

Iwill Killu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Killu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Valdez. Killu darts in and clinches Valdez up against the cage. Killu works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Valdez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Killu manages to get himself to full guard.
Killu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Valdez is controlling him. Killu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Killu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Valdez landing with the ground and pound. Valdez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Killu, up you get! Valdez fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Killu shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Valdez napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valdez stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Valdez struggling a bit here. Valdez throws up a few punches. Valdez wants to control but Killu postures up. Killu in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Killu is trying to get an arm triangle but Valdez is defending well. Valdez prevents Killu from moving into mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valdez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Killu has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Valdez is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Valdez wants to improve his position but Killu is controlling well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Valdez shoots in and bounces Killu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Valdez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killu throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Valdez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Valdez stands up over Killu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Valdez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Valdez is looking to work some ground and pound but Killu has wrist control. Valdez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Killu has closed the distance and engaged Valdez in a clinch.
Killu misses with a hook from the clinch. Kieth Valdez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Iwill Killu is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Valdez misses with an elbow over the top.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Iwill Killu. Well Killu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
