The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nada on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Palikka throws a body punch but Nada moves out of range.
Palikka connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nada. Nada circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nada is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Nada throws a right and a left that Palikka avoids nicely.

Nada closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Palikka did well to prevent Nada getting side control.
Nada is looking to take a break and control but Palikka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Nada moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Palikka fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nada is out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nada gets caught flat footed, as Palikka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Palikka is fighting to break Nada's control of his arms but Nada is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Palikka wants to control from the top but Nada keeps moving.
Nada wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Palikka seems to have got his legs back now.

That was a close round but I would say that Kalle Palikka will probably get the nod.

Nada connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Palikka covering up! Nada comes in with a big uppercut and Palikka goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
