Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Slip Cahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cahn comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of the Lion. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Slip Cahn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Johns! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cahn throws a looping overhand right but Johns ducks down to avoid it. Cahn throws a leg kick that is checked and Johns counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cahn! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Cahn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Johns is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cahn has escaped the position, nice work there. Cahn tries to buck Johns off but Johns is having none of it. Cahn avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Johns. Johns tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johns has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johns working the strikes but Cahn uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Johns is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've been hearing good reports from Cahn's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cahn actively working from the bottom here. Cahn wants to get back to full guard but Johns has passed into side control. Cahn struggling a bit here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johns looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Johns working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Cahn is trying to improve his position. Cahn wants to control but Johns postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Cahn is looking for a sweep. Johns thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cahn sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Cahn misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Johns looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Johns is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cahn sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cahn looking for submissions off his back. Cahn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johns is working away from the top position though. Cahn is looking for a sweep. Johns is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Johns looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Cahn gets full guard. Cahn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johns is aware though and is defending well. Johns is pushing down on Cahn's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cahn is fighting to maintain full guard but Johns has managed to sneak the leg through. Johns thows a huge punch but Cahn dodges it nicely.
Johns frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Cahn tries to hold on but Johns postures up. Johns with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cahn tries to reverse the position but Johns maintains control. Johns with shots to the head and body - Cahn looks very uncomfortable down there. Cahn tries to reverse the position but Johns maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Johns dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Johns, right into the meat.
Johns looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cahn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Cahn takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cahn digs a good body shot into Johns's ribs. Cahn walks forward, straight into a front kick from Johns. Cahn closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Johns's guard. Cahn trying to control but Johns is working from the bottom. Johns is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cahn defends well. Cahn is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cahn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Cahn slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Cahn swings around for an armbar but Johns sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cahn's guard. Cahn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Johns passes into half guard. Johns works his way into full mount! Cahn wants to hold on but Johns pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cahn is controlling an arm, preventing Johns from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Johns connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Cahn is looking to improve his position but Johns isn't that keen on the idea. Johns lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cahn is wriggling around trying to escape.
Johns working for a submission but Cahn is keeping him at bay. Cahn is in a horrible position here. Johns smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Cahn is rocked! Johns lands a big shot to the head and Cahn winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Jimmy Johns! Our winner, Jimmy Johns, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. In defeat, Slip Cahn stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry folks, I'll be back.'.
