The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kenmoghn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Coryatt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kenmoghn scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coryatt tries to roll over but Kenmoghn keeps him under control.
Coryatt is still trying to improve position.
Kenmoghn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kenmoghn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kenmoghn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Coryatt's head.
Coryatt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kenmoghn scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kenmoghn is looking to advance position but Coryatt won't allow it.

Coryatt flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Coryatt tries to roll over but Kenmoghn keeps him under control.

Kenmoghn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kenmoghn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Coryatt keeping moving, preventing Kenmoghn from controlling successfully.
Coryatt is trying to control the position but Kenmoghn postures up.
Coryatt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Coryatt decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Coryatt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kenmoghn sprawls well. Kenmoghn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coryatt gets slowly back to his feet.
We've been told by Kenmoghn's head coaches at Xtreme HGH Fight Club (best in Amsterdam) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kenmoghn shoots for a double leg takedown but Coryatt sprawls well. He's pushed Kenmoghn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kenmoghn looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Coryatt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kenmoghn lands an elbow.
Kenmoghn cracks Coryatt with a big right hand but Coryatt just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Coryatt avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kenmoghn.
Coryatt is trying to control Kenmoghn's posture but Kenmoghn avoids it.

Kenmoghn scores with punches from side control.
Coryatt struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coryatt is looking for a sweep.
Coryatt dodges the ground and pound from Kenmoghn.
Kenmoghn scores with a couple of short elbows.


Coryatt is rocked!
Coryatt tries to buck Kenmoghn off but Kenmoghn is having none of it.
Coryatt is still in real trouble! Can Kenmoghn finish him?
Kenmoghn lands an elbow.
A big shot lands for Kenmoghn! That's hurt Coryatt! Will he recover? Kenmoghn fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Niacisse Kenmoghn!
During a confident post fight interview, Niacisse Kenmoghn thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
