Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eat Die!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slade Traylor!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Traylor moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Traylor lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Eat Die has been cut.
Traylor feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Die sprawling to the canvas! Die rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Traylor finish him?!
Die is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horrible takedown attempt by Die or perhaps it was just good defense by Traylor, which made it look bad.
Die darts in trying to clinch
and Traylor counters with a crisp right hand that drops Die! Traylor lets Die back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Traylor throws a leg kick which misses Die's front leg but catches the back leg as Die tries to avoid it.
Traylor steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Die is out on his feet! Traylor sets himself and nearly takes Die's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Slade Traylor!
During a confident post fight interview, Slade Traylor thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
