Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olen Byers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brocks Lesnars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Olen Byers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brocks Lesnars!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byers tries a head kick but it misses.

Lesnars takes the fight into the clinch.
Lesnars leaning against his opponent.
Lesnars wants to take the fight to the mat but Byers manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Lesnars manages to break the clinch.
Lesnars misses with a straight right.

Lesnars manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Byers on his heels. He'll look to pass Byers's guard now, I'm sure.
Lesnars would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Byers wants to get back to his feet but Lesnars is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lesnars is stalling in the full guard.

Lesnars passes Byers's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lesnars connects with a nice short shot to Byers's temple.
Byers tries to kick Lesnars off but Lesnars keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Byers wants to get back to full guard.
Byers pushes Lesnars off looking to stand but Lesnars dives back in and keeps control.

Byers pushes Lesnars off and gets back to his feet.
Lesnars ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Byers is breathing heavily.
Lesnars pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Lesnars moves into the clinch successfully.
Lesnars is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lesnars fails to pull guard.

Byers manages to pull guard.
Byers wants to stand and escape but Lesnars is having none of it.
Lesnars stays in close to Byers's body and controls the position.
Lesnars pushing down on Byers's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Lesnars tries to stand but can't do so whilst Byers controls his leg.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lesnars lands a nice short elbow.
Byers looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Byers is looking to escape.
Lesnars perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Byers pushes Lesnars off but Lesnars dives into side control.

Lesnars controlling the position from side mount.
Lesnars creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Byers tries to improve position but can't.
Byers is looking to get back to his feet here but Lesnars is keeping cool and he's managed to take Byers's back.
Lesnars is riding his opponent, not letting Byers buck him off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesnars is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Lesnars's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
It looks like Lesnars might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brocks Lesnars dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Lesnars throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lesnars or perhaps it was just good defense by Byers, which made it look bad.

Lesnars closes the distance and pushes Byers back into the cage.
Lesnars's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Lesnars tries to score a body lock takedown but Byers shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Byers tries to stall but Lesnars uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Lesnars keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Byers's efforts to push away.

Lesnars is working for takedown but Byers is calmly controlling the position for now.
Olen Byers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brocks Lesnars.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Byers takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Byers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lesnars slaps away a takedown attempt from Byers, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Lesnars forces Byers back against the cage and clinches.
Byers leaning against his opponent.
Lesnars jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Byers walks away with a smile on his face. Lesnars gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Byers connects with the punch.
Lesnars misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Olen Byers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Byers throws a hook but Lesnars blocks it.
Byers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Lesnars closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Byers's guard.

Lesnars slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Byers looking to control.
Byers wants to stand but Lesnars is controlling the position.
Lesnars's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Lesnars wanted to stand there but Byers had control of the position.
Byers is looking to stand up but Lesnars isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Byers scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lesnars fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Lesnars has Byers up against the cage in a clinch.
Lesnars has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Byers is trying to break the clinch but Lesnars is controlling him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Lesnars tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Byers's elbow.

A close second round but Brocks Lesnars will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Lesnars keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Byers's efforts to push away.
Lesnars jumps guard but Byers turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Byers is trying to maintain a safe position but Lesnars gets an underhook and turns Byers into the cage.

Lesnars has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Byers regains guard immediately.
Lesnars engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lesnars lands a couple of elbows.

Byers uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Byers lands a head kick. Lesnars smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Byers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No luck for Lesnars with that takedown attempt.
Lesnars looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Olen Byers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brocks Lesnars.
Lesnars takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lesnars shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Byers wants to get back to full guard.
Byers tries to kick Lesnars off but Lesnars keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Lesnars winds up and cracks Byers with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Lesnars wants to stand up but Byers has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lesnars in particular looking to stall.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Lesnars. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Byers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Byers leaves Lesnars with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lesnars looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Byers. Lesnars shrugs it off though.
Lesnars fails to land the takedown.
Byers tries to counter with a takedown but Lesnars is quick to defend against it.
Byers lands with a slapping head kick.
Byers pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lesnars throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Byers tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lesnars is in Byers's guard.

Lesnars slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Byers is not content to let Lesnars control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Byers is trying to buck Lesnars off.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Olen Byers.
I think Lesnars has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
