Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Moldoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moldoon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Heaven Nor Hell. Chuck Moldoon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chuck Moldoon!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Moldoon.
Rock moves forwards but Moldoon connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Moldoon lunges at Rock with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rock's hand.
Rock changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moldoon tries to avoid it but Rock manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moldoon to the ground. Moldoon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rock fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Moldoon unleashes a big counter combination but Rock bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Rock shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Moldoon counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Rock. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moldoon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Rock shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Moldoon sprawls well. Moldoon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rock gets slowly back to his feet.
Moldoon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rock's head.

Moldoon looks up at the clock and then as Rock takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Moldoon smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Moldoon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Moldoon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Moldoon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rock has escaped the position, nice work there.
Rock is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Moldoon has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Moldoon in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Moldoon tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Moldoon throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Rock works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rock is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Moldoon pulls his head out easily.

Moldoon wants to free his trapped foot but Rock is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Rock is trying is best to control the position here.
Moldoon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Moldoon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rock's head.
Rock is trying to maintain the position but Moldoon is very close to passing his half guard.
Moldoon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Rock trying to hold on to Moldoon's head to control him but Moldoon postures up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Rock is staying active underneath Moldoon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Moldoon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Moldoon's coach down at Death Valley Training Facility was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Moldoon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Rock tries to bum rush Moldoon with a series of wild strikes but Moldoon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Moldoon moves into range and connects with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rock misses with a takedown
and Moldoon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rock throws a combination that misses
and Moldoon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Moldoon might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Moldoon lands with an uppercut that bounces Rock off the cage and back into range.

Rock is rocked!
Rock get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Rock stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Moldoon runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
