Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boston Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Howard's choice of entrance music: My Block. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Howard!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard shoots in but no luck this time.
Jones appears to be looking for a big counter.
Nice body kick there by Jones.
Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Howard can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Howard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones trying to control but Howard is working from the bottom.
Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones gets to his feet - Howard follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Howard tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jones lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Howard falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
