Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Biryukov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vadim Biryukov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vadim Biryukov! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King shoots in for a takedown but Biryukov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. King doesn't manage to clinch there - Biryukov circles away.

Biryukov is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. King clinches up with Biryukov and pushes him back against the cage. King has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Biryukov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. King wants to break free but Biryukov has control.
King jumps into guard, dragging Biryukov to the mat.
Biryukov wants to pass the guard but King is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Biryukov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. King looking to hit a scissor sweep but Biryukov is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King looking to control.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now King is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. King looking to pass the guard. King wanted to stand there but Biryukov had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Biryukov can do anything to dispel that myth. King trying to control but Biryukov is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. King takes the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King pulls guard effortlessly. Biryukov controls the pace of the fight for a moment. King trying to keep a closed guard but Biryukov is proving a slippery customer.
King is really struggling to control Biryukov but he's trying to hold on to the position. Biryukov got a little sloppy there for a moment and King has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Biryukov has managed to get both his arms back between King's legs - danger averted. Biryukov looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. King working for a triangle but Biryukov defends it easily.
King is trying to control the position but Biryukov postures up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! King misses with a takedown attempt - Biryukov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael King dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Biryukov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Biryukov getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A nice inside leg kick there by Biryukov. That's going to slow King down. King shoots in but Biryukov avoids the takedown attempt easily. King misses with a few strikes there.
Biryukov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Biryukov pounces like a tiger and cracks King with a vicious hook! King is down but not out! Biryukov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vadim Biryukov!
