Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimbell misses the shot to the body.
Kimbell takes a swing at Battery's ribcage but misses.
Kimbell takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kimbell tries to bum rush Battery with a series of wild strikes but Battery uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kimbell has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Battery.
Battery looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A head kick misses from Battery.
Kimbell blocks a head kick by Battery.
Kimbell definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Battery tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Battery showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kimbell.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kimbell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kimbell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Battery feints a counter leg kick.
Kimbell misses the shot to the body.
Kimbell goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Elekid Battery has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A lazy body kick from Kimbell
and Battery counters with a good low kick that Kimbell was not able to check.

Battery blocks the body kick.
Kimbell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Battery was well out of range. Poor timing from Kimbell.
Kimbell sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Battery lands a head kick!
It looks like Austin Kimbell has been cut.
Battery fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kimbell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Battery scores with a head kick.
Battery lands a big head kick that sends Kimbell tumbling to the mat! Battery takes a step backwards and waves Kimbell back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kimbell is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kimbell misses with a double jab
and Battery counters with a slapping leg kick.
Oh Kimbell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kimbell stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Battery.
Kimbell has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Battery.
Kimbell seems to have got his legs back now.
Kimbell throws a head kick but Battery moves out of range.
Battery tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kimbell fails to land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Battery dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kimbell. That did some damage!
Battery avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Battery lands a leg kick that knocks Kimbell off balance momentarily.
Kimbell is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Kimbell misses with a hook to the body
and Battery counters with a low kick, right behind Kimbell 's knee.
Kimbell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Battery lands a head kick. Kimbell smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kimbell scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kimbell. Battery does a little dance to reset his feet.

Battery bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kimbell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Battery was well out of range. Poor timing from Kimbell.
Battery throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kimbell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Battery can pounce on him.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Battery circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kimbell drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Battery follows Kimbell to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elekid Battery!
