Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ali Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kelson Kawai!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kawai throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Johnson tries to clinch there but Kawai circles away.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kawai paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Johnson blocks the body kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Johnson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kawai - the referee stops the clock and Johnson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kawai. Johnson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kawai paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kawai throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.

and Kawai makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

As Kawai looks to move away, Johnson throws a big counter combo bu Kawai just gets out of the way.

Kawai connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Johnson takes a kick to the side of the head.

Kawai seems to be stalking Johnson here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Johnson drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Kelson Kawai really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KAISER logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
