Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Warner Dale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Magnus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warner Dale has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Warner Dale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Magnus! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magnus clinches with his opponent.
Magnus lands a body shot in the clinch.
Dale tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Dale jumps guard and drags Magnus to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dale working for a triangle but Magnus defends it easily.
Magnus gets to his feet. Dale looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Magnus looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Magnus trying to control the position from guard on top but Dale is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magnus is looking to work some ground and pound but Dale has wrist control. Magnus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dale is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magnus advances position into side control! Magnus stands up and we're back to a striking position. Magnus rushes Dale and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A short uppercut from Magnus. Knees in the clinch landing for Magnus.
Magnus has Dale pressed against the cage, preventing Dale from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Magnus lands with a right to the head. Magnus keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dale's efforts to push away. A short right from Magnus on the inside. Dale pulls guard successfully.
Magnus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magnus postures up in Dale's guard and throws a big left but Dale blocks it. Dale is working an open guard so Magnus takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Magnus closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Magnus lands in his opponent's guard. Dale really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. This has been an exciting period of action! Magnus stands up from Dale's guard - Magnus perhaps looking for a knockout. Dale is breathing heavily. Magnus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Magnus shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dale is trying to defend but Magnus finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Magnus takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magnus is trying to control. Dale wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dale is looking to escape. Magnus is figuring out what he wants to do next. Magnus escapes and gets back to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Dale tries to throw a body punch but Magnus avoids it by throwing Dale back against the cage. Magnus has Dale pushed against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Magnus lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Magnus leaning against his opponent.
Dale has clasped his hands together around Magnus's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Magnus wants to get back to his feet. Magnus is trying to get back to half guard. Magnus wants to control but Dale postures up. Dale with the ground and pound but Magnus regains half guard under the barage of strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ed Magnus dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Magnus closes the distance and clinches. Magnus gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Magnus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dale is keeping the position for now. Magnus throws a big right hand that misses. Magnus wants to control from the top but Dale keeps moving. Dale can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Magnus controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dale is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magnus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dale works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Magnus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A nice leg kick lands there from Magnus. Ed Magnus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Magnus moves into the clinch. Dale wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Magnus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dale can't break the clinch.
Dale can't find room to land a body shot as Magnus controls the action.
Magnus lands a nice shot to the body. Dale fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Magnus unloads a knee to the mid-section. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magnus lands with a left to the head. Magnus lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Magnus gets a trip takedown into half guard. Magnus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dale is just riding it out for now. Magnus eventually gives up the hold. Magnus stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Magnus clinches up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dale fails to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dale manages to pull guard.
Magnus stands up from guard. Let's bang! Magnus is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dale's half guard. Magnus passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dale! Magnus throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Poor strikes thrown by Magnus there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Magnus looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Magnus misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magnus looking to control and managing it successfully. Magnus thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Magnus goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dale is on top in guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Magnus holds on and takes a little breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ed Magnus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Dale looks for a takedown but Magnus sprawls well. Dale moves into the clinch. Magnus working Dale over with knees to the body. Magnus is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Magnus prevents Dale from breaking the clinch. Magnus decides to pull guard. Magnus is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dale stopping the sweep attempt from Magnus. Dale has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Magnus pulls Dale in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magnus scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Magnus gets in close and instigates a clinch. Magnus has Dale pressed against the cage, preventing Dale from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Magnus manages to break the clinch.
Ed Magnus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dale gets a takedown into half guard. Magnus gets full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Magnus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dale manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magnus trying to control but Dale is working from the bottom. Magnus won't allow Dale to get back to his feet. Magnus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dale is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Magnus is controlling him. Ed Magnus has got the better of the ground game so far. Magnus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dale's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Magnus is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magnus stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Magnus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dale's guard. Magnus decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dale finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Magnus fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dale to the ground. Magnus is now in Dale's guard. Magnus stands up from Dale's guard - Magnus perhaps looking for a knockout. Magnus has closed the distance and engaged Dale in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magnus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Magnus moves into the clinch. Magnus stalling in the clinch.
Magnus lands an elbow that stopped Dale in his tracks for a moment. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Magnus is trying to trip Dale. He has hold of a leg but Dale is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Magnus persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Magnus stands up and waves to Dale to follow him. Ed Magnus is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Magnus clinches. Magnus makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A battle for position here, against the cage. Dale tries to circle away but Magnus has him pinned against the cage. Warner Dale has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dale tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
And that's the end of the fight! Ed Magnus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Magnus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
