Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Esposito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Castiel Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Esposito's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sukh Knight. The crowd seem to be enjoying Angel's choice of entrance music: Carry on my wayward son. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Esposito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Castiel Angel!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angel throws a wild body kick that Esposito sees coming a mile off.
Esposito looks to land a right hand but Angel moved out of range.
Angel misses with a head kick.
Angel is looking to chop away at Esposito's legs.

Esposito jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Esposito looks to score with a jab to the body but Angel is just out of range.
Angel tries a head kick but it misses.
Esposito swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Esposito throws a nice outside leg kick.

Angel is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Esposito throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

John Esposito is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Angel drops his hands momentarily and Esposito takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Esposito counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Angel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Angel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Esposito swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Angel drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Esposito dives on top into guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Angel wants to sweep but no luck.
Angel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Angel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Angel lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that John Esposito will probably get the nod.
That's time! Esposito's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Angel moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like John Esposito has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Esposito walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Angel drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Esposito swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Angel's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Esposito!
A very excited looking John Esposito made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
