The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatfield gets caught flat footed, as Magee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Magee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hatfield is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hatfield has escaped and now he's on top!
Magee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Magee takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

As Magee tries to get set, Hatfield tries to push him back and clinch up but Magee manages to avoid the attempt.
Magee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hatfield's waist but Hatfield gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magee off to one side.

Hatfield dips to his left and cracks Magee with an uppercut!

Hatfield smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hatfield, right into the meat.

Magee shoots in and drives through. Hatfield sprawls well.
Magee shoots for a double leg takedown but Hatfield sprawls well. He's pushed Magee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
