Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lamela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Method Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Lamela!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Method Man!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamela lands a nice hook to Man's body. Man takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Man lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Man lands a two punch combo.
Jab by Lamela.
Lamela scores with a crisp jab that stopped Man in his tracks.
Man moves into range and clinches up with Lamela.
Man has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lamela is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head punch blocked on the inside by Man.
Lamela stalling in the clinch but Man improves position.
Lamela tries to stall but Man uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Lamela is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Lamela is trying to maintain a safe position but Man gets an underhook and turns Lamela into the cage.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Eric Lamela.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lamela. Man does a little dance to reset his feet.
Man displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lamela throws out the jab.
Man throws a counter combo.
Man is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Man blocks a jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Man! But no joy.
Lamela takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The fighters circling - Lamela throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lamela lands with an overhand left.
Man misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lamela misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lamela tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Man was well out of range. Poor timing from Lamela.
Despite the aggression on Man's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A bone on bone clash there as Lamela blocks the leg kick.
Lamela throws a hook but Man avoids it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lamela, as that shot connected.
Lamela misses the jab.

and Man counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Man.
Man advances position into side control!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The strikes coming from Man are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Man decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Lamela throws a looping overhand right but Man ducks down to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lamela. Man does a little dance to reset his feet.

Man moves out of range as Lamela strikes.
Man tries to counter with a clinch but Lamela shakes him off and moves away.

Man moves into the clinch.
Man has Lamela pressed against the cage, preventing Lamela from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lamela is trying to break the clinch but Man has him pressed against the cage.
Man is pushing Lamela up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Lamela doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Man pulls guard.
Man is pulling down on Lamela's head to control his posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Man is on top in guard.

Man throwing strikes from guard but Lamela blocks nicely.
Man is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Method Man will probably get the nod.

Man gets a clinch.
Lamela working aggressively here.

And Man tries to counter it with a takedown but Lamela pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Man closes the distance and clinches up with Lamela, looking for a takedown. Man pushes Lamela against the cage but Lamela circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lamela throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Man decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lamela to his feet.
Man shoots in and drives through. Lamela sprawls well.
Man drops his hands momentarily and Lamela takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lamela misses with a jab, cross combination.
Man is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Man ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Eric Lamela seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lamela is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Man is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Man has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Method Man showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Man throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lamela pinned against the cage. Lamela gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Man moves out of range of the strikes.
Man takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Man has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Man lands a body shot.
Man shoots in and drives through. Lamela sprawls well.
Lamela throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Man counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Man is working for a submission of some sort.
Man trying to control the action but Lamela is working from the bottom.

Still in half guard, Man seems content to control.
Lamela has a hand on Man's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Man takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Man controlling the pace for now.
Man with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Eric Lamela has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lamela tries to control Man's body but Man pushes him off. Lamela squirms to his side and now Man has his back!
Man keeps control of the position easily here as Lamela tries to buck him off.

Man is persistently looking for the submission but Lamela is defending it well.
Method Man has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Man's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Man is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Lamela is defending well though. Man let's go of the attempt for now.
Man has good solid back control here.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Let's hope that Man has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Method Man comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Man winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
