Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Broden Romanovitch! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for Romanovitch on that attempt. Johnson clinches up against the cage. Romanovitch is trying to break free. Johnson breaks from the clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Johnson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Romanovitch takes the fight into the clinch. Johnson stalling.
Johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Broden Romanovitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson stands up out of the half guard. Romanovitch fails with the takedown and Johnson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Johnson. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Romanovitch is trying to keep Johnson in close.
Johnson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Romanovitch works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Johnson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Johnson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Romanovitch is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Romanovitch has escaped and now he's on top! Romanovitch looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Romanovitch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Romanovitch from controlling successfully. Romanovitch has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johnson is proving hard to escape from. Romanovitch distracts Johnson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Romanovitch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Romanovitch looks gassed! Johnson wants to sweep but no luck. Romanovitch wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Romanovitch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Johnson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jafrel Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Broden Romanovitch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Johnson closes the distance and clinches. Romanovitch is fighting off a takedown attempt but Johnson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Romanovitch to the mat. Romanovitch regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Johnson postures up.

Romanovitch letting Johnson take a breather here. Johnson keeps control of Romanovitch as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johnson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Jafrel Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Romanovitch tries to clinch up and Johnson counters with a good low kick that Romanovitch was not able to check. Johnson clinches. Romanovitch tries to pull guard but Johnson won't allow it.

Romanovitch is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Johnson is stalling in the full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Romanovitch thows a left - swing and a miss!
And that's the end of the fight! Jafrel Johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
