Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harold Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William Dias will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harold Kidd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, William Dias! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dias throws a head kick but Kidd moves out of range.
Kidd half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Dias instigates a clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Kidd's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dias fails to pull guard.
Kidd wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kidd misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dias.
Kidd has had enough of the clinch but Dias keeps him there for the moment. A bit of stalling here from Kidd.
Kidd is trying to break the clinch but Dias has him pressed against the cage. Kidd stalling against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kidd breaks from the clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kidd lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dias has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dias and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Dias throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Harold Kidd has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dias scores with a jab to the jaw. Dias closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kidd's guard. Kidd has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dias can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dias missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dias trying to control but Kidd is working from the bottom. Kidd looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dias throwing strikes but missing. Kidd trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dias seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dias wants to control from the top but Kidd keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dias would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Dias has closed the distance and engaged Kidd in a clinch.
Dias fails to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dias manages to break the clinch.
Danga de danga de dang - Dias scores with a four punch combination!
Kidd is rocked! Dias darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Kidd's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Dias before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
