Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balagtas shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Balagtas misses with a head shot. Destructable uses the momentum to regain guard.
Destructable is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Destructable has control of Balagtas's left arm, preventing Balagtas from doing any damage.
Balagtas makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Destructable has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Destructable closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Balagtas to the mat! Balagtas manages to get full guard.

Balagtas had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Destructable defends it easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Balagtas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Destructable doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Destructable manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Balagtas is looking for a triangle but Destructable pushes his legs off easily.

Destructable drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Balagtas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Destructable has Balagtas in his guard.

Balagtas throws a strike but Destructable rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Destructable passes Balagtas's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Balagtas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Destructable pulls his head out easily.

Destructable works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Balagtas is defending against the submission attempts here by Destructable.

Destructable is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Balagtas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Destructable.

Balagtas keeps control of the position for the meantime.

That was a close round but I would say that Pedro Balagtas will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Destructable.

Destructable has hold of Balagtas's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Balagtas tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Destructable cranks the arm and Balagtas screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Balagtas, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
