Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Neal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trey Decks! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decks gets tackled into the cage by Neal. Neal maintains the clinch. Decks letting Neal take a breather here. Neal throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Neal has Decks pushed against the cage. Neal wants a takedown.
Neal working aggressively here.
Decks misses with a knee to the head. Neal tries to pull guard but Decks holds him up against the cage and eventually Neal drops back down to his feet.
Decks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Neal fails in his attempt to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neal steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Decks. Neal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Decks paws at him with a jab and circles away. Decks looks like he wants to counter punch here. Decks buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Decks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Decks misses with a series of wild punches.
Decks misses with a head kick.
Neal feinted with a counter takedown. Decks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Neal counters with a left and a right that stings Decks. Neal misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Decks lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Neal misses with a takedown and Decks counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Neal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Decks plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Tim Neal has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A left and a right from Decks both land. Nice combination.
Neal is rocked! Decks with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Oh Neal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Decks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Decks clinches. Decks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Decks feints a jab and as Neal dips his head, Decks unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Neal right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Neal falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Decks smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Trey Decks!
