The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scheihing on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mouba.
Scheihing blocks a head kick by Mouba.
Scheihing digs a good body shot into Mouba's ribs.
Scheihing tries to bum rush Mouba with a series of wild strikes but Mouba uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've been hearing reports that Mouba has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mouba throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Scheihing crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mouba - the referee stops the clock and Scheihing gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mouba. Scheihing manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Scheihing throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mouba was covering up waiting for the punch and Scheihing finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Mouba has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Scheihing's face.
