The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mace misses the shot to the body.
MacLeod swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Mace jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Jarek Mace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mace throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
MacLeod tried to counter with a leg kick but Mace avoided it.
Mace lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

MacLeod lands a really nice looking cross but Mace seems unphased.

MacLeod thuds a left hand into Mace's body.
MacLeod throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mace seems to have recovered his senses.
MacLeod changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mace tries to avoid it but MacLeod manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mace to the ground. Mace escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
MacLeod connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Mace throws a hook but MacLeod avoids it easily.
MacLeod is looking to counter punch.
MacLeod cracks Mace with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mace falls to his knees and MacLeod doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Sam MacLeod started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
