Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Jeltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Jeltz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andre Moss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steve Jeltz!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeltz has Moss up against the cage in a clinch.
Moss tries for a takedown but Jeltz manages to get underhooks.
Jeltz takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Steve Jeltz has been cut.
Moss crunches a lovely knee into Jeltz's ribcage.
Moss can't get the takedown.
Moss drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Moss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moss has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jeltz regains guard immediately.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moss seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Moss drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moss jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moss stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Moss bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jeltz looks to land a combination but Moss avoids it well.
Moss slips a jab and a cross from Jeltz.
Moss shoots in looking for a takedown. Jeltz tries to sprawl out of it but Moss keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jeltz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Moss looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jeltz!
Moss tries for a kimura but Jeltz is defending well.
Moss has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moss wants to finish this one by submission but Jeltz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Moss.
Moss has hold of Jeltz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jeltz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moss is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jeltz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jeltz shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Moss moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jeltz has worked his arm free - good work by Jeltz!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Moss wants to control but Jeltz is keeping him busy.
Moss working away.
Jeltz tries to escape back to his feet but Moss has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Jeltz's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Jeltz is tapping! Moss saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Andre Moss!
