Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramzan Kadirov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Junior Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ramzan Kadirov!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kadirov stuffs the takedown.
Kadirov moves in looking to clinch but Lewis pushes him off.
Kadirov throws a right hand that Lewis ducks under and follows up with a left that Lewis also avoids with ease.

Kadirov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kadirov showed some decent athleticism there.
Lewis tries to roll over but Kadirov keeps him under control.
Lewis trying to hold on to Kadirov's head to control him but Kadirov postures up.

Lewis looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Lewis gets full guard.
Kadirov controlling from the top position.
Lewis keeping moving, preventing Kadirov from controlling successfully.

Kadirov stopping the sweep attempt from Lewis.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lewis has his foot on Kadirov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kadirov works his way back into a safe position though.

Lewis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kadirov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kadirov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lewis, up you get!
Lewis tries for a takedown but Kadirov circles away easily

and Kadirov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Kadirov is looking for a kimura here.

Kadirov is just content to waste time from the top position. Lewis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Kadirov wants to pass the guard but Lewis is keeping the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Lewis looking for a guillotine here but Kadirov defends easily.

Lewis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kadirov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lewis passes Kadirov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Lewis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kadirov wants to get back to full guard.

Kadirov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lewis is working away from the top position though.

Lewis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kadirov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lewis.
Kadirov throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Lewis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lewis prevents Kadirov from standing back up.

A close round but Ramzan Kadirov will probably get the nod.

Lewis doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kadirov counters with a single leg into guard. Lewis didn't expect that.

Kadirov distracts Lewis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Lewis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kadirov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kadirov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lewis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kadirov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kadirov postures up and lands a big shot to Lewis's brow.

Kadirov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lewis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lewis throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kadirov escapes and throws Lewis's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Lewis tries to buck Kadirov off but Kadirov is having none of it.

Kadirov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working.
Kadirov cracks Lewis with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Lewis is trying to improve his position.
Kadirov lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lewis down.
Lewis manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Kadirov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lewis's head.
Kadirov looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Lewis is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kadirov pulls his head out easily.

Kadirov wants to control from the top but Lewis keeps moving.

Lewis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kadirov is defending against the submission attempts here by Lewis.

Lewis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That was a close second round but I would say that Junior Lewis will probably get the nod.

Lewis shoots and misses

Kadirov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lewis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kadirov defends it well.

Kadirov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lewis's guard.

Junior Lewis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lewis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Junior Lewis showed his dominance in that final round.
