Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bignose is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rojas's half guard.
Bignose is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rojas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bignose.
Bignose is pressing down on Rojas's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rojas is holding on for now.
Rojas is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rojas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bignose is working away from the top position though.
Rojas is staying active underneath Bignose, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

and Rojas counters with a straight right hand.

Bignose moves in looking to clinch but Rojas pushes him off.
Bignose shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Bignose has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bignose working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Bignose drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Rojas throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bignose uses it to pass to side control.

Rojas takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bignose decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rojas to his feet.
Bignose throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bignose throws a right hand that Rojas ducks under and follows up with a left that Rojas also avoids with ease.

Draco Bignose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
