The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler with a poor takedown
and Krugerman counters with a stiff right hand.
We've been hearing reports that Tyler has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tyler moves out of range as Krugerman strikes.

Tyler looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Krugerman!
Krugerman tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Tyler working for a guillotine from mount but Krugerman is in no mood to give up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyler has hold of Krugerman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Krugerman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Krugerman squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Tyler swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Krugerman is now in Tyler's guard. A big mistake from Tyler there, giving up the dominant position!
Krugerman is looking to stand up but Tyler won't let him.
Tyler wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Tyler wants to sweep here but Krugerman controlling him for the moment.

Tyler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Krugerman tries to stand but Tyler is controlling from the bottom.
Krugerman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Krugerman won't allow Tyler to sweep him here.

Tyler is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Krugerman throws a punch but it's blocked by Tyler.

Tyler jumps guard and drags Krugerman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Tyler wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Tyler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Krugerman wants to stand but Tyler is controlling his posture from full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyler controlling the position.
Tyler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Krugerman is one step ahead there.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Freddy Krugerman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tyler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Krugerman sprawls well initially but Tyler persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Krugerman is trying to stand back up but Tyler is controlling him
Tyler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Krugerman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tyler stops Krugerman from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rex Tyler dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Tyler stuns Krugerman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Krugerman counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Krugerman tries to close the distance and clinch but Tyler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tyler tries to counter with a takedown but Krugerman is quick to defend against it.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Tyler here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Tyler is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Krugerman moves into the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Krugerman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tyler has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Krugerman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krugerman is trying to stand back up.

Tyler is working for a rear naked choke. Krugerman is not defending it well and Tyler has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Krugerman refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Krugerman's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rex Tyler!
After winning the bout, Rex Tyler thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
