Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Stones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz's entrance music is National Anthem. A fine choice. Mark Stones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Stones! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Stones darts in and clinches Diaz up against the ropes. Stones breaks from the clinch.
Crunch! Stones slams his shin into Diaz's torso. Stones lands a high kick!
Stones feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Diaz's calf. Diaz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stones's guard. Diaz is breathing heavily. Stones keeping full guard, as Diaz tries to pass. Stones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diaz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stones tries to strike from the bottom.
Stones will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Diaz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Stones dives on top into guard. Stones is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz looking for a sweep. Not yet Diaz, not yet. Stones trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stones sitting in guard here, content to control. Diaz has a closed guard, preventing Stones from standing up. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Stones from controlling successfully. Stones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stones scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Stones throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Stones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stones lands a head kick!
Stones goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Stones clinches. Stones blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Diaz tries to pull guard but Stones won't allow it.
Stones lands an elbow inside that Diaz shrugs off. Diaz wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stones tries for a takedown. No joy.

Stones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Stones lands with a kick to the temple. Diaz shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Stones throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Diaz. Diaz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Anderson Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz throws a sloppy head kick and Stones counters with a three punch combo that has Diaz backing up. Diaz nods at Stones to acknowledge the strikes. Stones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Diaz backs up against the ropes.
Stones scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Stones throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Stones feints and as Diaz raises his hands in defense, Stones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Stones from controlling successfully. Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Diaz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stones trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Diaz looking for a triangle here. Stones is fighting it but it looks tight! Diaz pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Stones is tapping out - this one is all over!
