Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Monty Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsuya Shiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatsuya Shiba will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Monty Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tatsuya Shiba! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shiba tries a head kick but it misses.
Sanchez moves out of range as Shiba throws a body kick.
Shiba is looking to clinch. Sanchez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shiba. Sanchez clinches. Shiba blocks the elbow strike.
Shiba misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sanchez.
Shiba lands an elbow just above Sanchez 's eye.
It looks like Monty Sanchez has been cut. Sanchez manages to break the clinch.
Sanchez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Shiba controls Sanchez momentarily but Sanchez frees himself. Sanchez is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Sanchez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shiba for as long as he can get away with. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Shiba controls Sanchez momentarily but Sanchez frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanchez darts in looking for a takedown but Shiba gets double underhooks and turns Sanchez into the cage. Shiba misses with a series of wild punches.
Sanchez is looking to counter the offense by Shiba and move into the clinch. Shiba stuffs the takedown attempt from Sanchez. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shiba tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanchez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sanchez tries to clinch but Shiba is having none of it. Shiba shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Shiba was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sanchez dodges the ground and pound from Shiba. Sanchez is looking to regain half guard here but Shiba keeps moving and retains side control. Shiba cracks Sanchez with a big right hand but Sanchez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sanchez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Shiba working the strikes but Sanchez uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sanchez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Shiba tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shiba escapes and gets back to his feet. Shiba throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sanchez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shiba is in Sanchez's guard. Shiba wants to stand but Sanchez has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Sanchez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shiba throwing strikes from guard but Sanchez blocks nicely. Shiba wants to stand but Sanchez is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tatsuya Shiba dominated that round. The cut man is working on Monty Sanchez's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Shiba lands a left and a right that send Sanchez crashing to the mat, dazed. Shiba thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sanchez is rocked! Shiba closes the distance looking for a takedown. Shiba picks Sanchez up and slams him brutally to the floor. Sanchez is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Tatsuya Shiba! During a confident post fight interview, Tatsuya Shiba thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
