Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The key to victory for Frank Castle has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle misses with a hook. Rogan ducked under it nicely.
Rogan darts in looking for a takedown but Castle gets double underhooks and turns Rogan into the cage.
Rogan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Castle.
No luck for Rogan with that takedown attempt.
Rogan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Castle is breathing heavily.
Castle seems a little lost for a moment, as Rogan dominates the positioning.
Rogan looks up at the clock and then as Castle takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rogan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Rogan creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rogan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Castle's shoulder. That is not cool.

Rogan is working Castle over with some ground and pound from side control.

Castle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Castle tries to get out of the position.
Rogan advances nicely into full mount.
Rogan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Rogan lands a nice shot to the head.
Rogan is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Rogan is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Castle goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Rogan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mike Rogan!
After the fight, Mike Rogan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
