The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West Jr misses with a two punch combination.
West Jr changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

West Jr forces Steel back against the cage and clinches.
Steel letting West Jr take a breather here.
Steel misses with a punch on the inside.
West Jr lands a body shot.
A nice right hand lands inside from West Jr.
Steel is looking to control West Jr's arms but West Jr gets an underhook and turns him. Now Steel has his back to the cage.

George West Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and West Jr connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Steel scrambles back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

West Jr has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Steel is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but West Jr is keeping busy.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
West Jr is pushing Steel up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

West Jr tries to break free but Steel pushes him back against the cage.
Steel is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
West Jr lands a shoulder strike.

West Jr manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

George West Jr dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Butch Steel's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Steel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Steel throws a push kick but West Jr slaps the foot to one side.
West Jr connects with a crisp jab.
West Jr moves out of range of the leg kick from Steel.
George West Jr seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Steel gets cracked there but stands up to it.


Steel is rocked!
BOOM! West Jr lands a beautiful left hook that drops Steel. Steel tries to recover but West Jr is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Steel lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George West Jr!
After the fight, George West Jr was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
