The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cunningham stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Somchaimy throws a jab but it's blocked by Cunningham.
Cunningham ducks right into an uppercut from Somchaimy.

The fighters circling - Cunningham throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Somchaimy has Cunningham pulled in close to control his posture.
Somchaimy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cunningham's guard.

Cunningham manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Somchaimy manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Randall Cunningham will probably get the nod.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cunningham sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Somchaimy's defenses. It connects perfectly with Somchaimy's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Randall Cunningham decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
