Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Mosley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vyacheslav Kowalchuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Mosley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vyacheslav Kowalchuk ! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mosley looking to score a takedown here. Kowalchuk is defending well but Mosley drives through and ends up in Kowalchuk 's guard. Mosley with a nice head shot there. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Mosley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kowalchuk works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mosley throws a strike but Kowalchuk rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mosley trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Mosley keeping moving, preventing Kowalchuk from controlling successfully. Mosley is wriggling around but Kowalchuk manages to pass to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kowalchuk works his way into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kowalchuk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mosley keeps working. Kowalchuk tries to move to mount but Mosley blocks the move with his legs. Mosley is not content to let Kowalchuk control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mosley tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kowalchuk trying to control the action but Mosley is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mosley dives in and scores a takedown into Kowalchuk 's guard. Kowalchuk tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kowalchuk is trying to keep Mosley in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kowalchuk might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mosley haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Mosley wants to get up but he can't break Kowalchuk 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mosley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mosley missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Mosley throws a sloppy head kick and Kowalchuk moves out of range easily. Kowalchuk is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Kowalchuk gets tackled into the cage by Mosley. Mosley maintains the clinch. Mosley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mosley jumps guard but Kowalchuk stands there with Mosley around his waist. Mosley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kowalchuk tries to keep at a distance but Mosley has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kowalchuk decides to pull guard. Mosley tries to stand but Kowalchuk is controlling from the bottom. Mosley lands a couple of digs. Kowalchuk is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kowalchuk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mosley throws a strike but Kowalchuk rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kowalchuk stays in close to Mosley's body and controls the position. Mosley trying to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kowalchuk passes easily into side control. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vyacheslav Kowalchuk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Mosley sets himself, and Kowalchuk steps forward looking for the clinch! Mosley avoids it this time. Mosley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kowalchuk 's guard. Kowalchuk wants to sweep but no luck. Kowalchuk looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mosley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kowalchuk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kowalchuk manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Mosley is not content to let Kowalchuk control the position. Mosley is pressing down on Kowalchuk 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kowalchuk wants to control from the top but Mosley keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mosley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kowalchuk can do to turn this around? Mosley looking to control but Kowalchuk passes into half guard.
Kowalchuk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mosley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kowalchuk is thwarting Mosley's attempts to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kowalchuk keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Mosley showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mosley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
