6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Edinger Nucleus! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nucleus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nucleus goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Morgoslepov swinging wildly here.
Nucleus steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Nucleus moves into the clinch. Morgoslepov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nucleus is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Morgoslepov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Nucleus after a bit of a struggle. Nucleus landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
A nice left hand lands by Nucleus.
Morgoslepov is trying to break the clinch but Nucleus is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nucleus missing with knees to the body.

It looks like Evgeny Morgoslepov has been cut. Nucleus lands a left hand that snaps the head of Morgoslepov backwards. Nucleus with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Morgoslepov is looking to control Nucleus's arms but Nucleus gets an underhook and turns him. Now Morgoslepov has his back to the cage. Nucleus leaning his opponent against the cage. Nucleus has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Morgoslepov seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Nucleus can turn it around. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Morgoslepov wants to break the clinch but can't.
Nucleus tries to throw a body punch but Morgoslepov avoids it by throwing Nucleus back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Morgoslepov's face as he tries to break the clinch. Nucleus tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Morgoslepov avoids it. Nucleus keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Morgoslepov's efforts to push away. Nucleus lands a nice shot to the body. Nucleus tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Morgoslepov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Morgoslepov cracks Nucleus with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nucleus lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Morgoslepov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Morgoslepov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Some wild striking there from Morgoslepov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick by Nucleus - that's a beauty! Morgoslepov is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Nucleus can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Edinger Nucleus! An out of breath Edinger Nucleus thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. Evgeny Morgoslepov spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry, Russia'.
