Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darrick Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darrick Wagner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Jones! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jones gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Wagner regains guard.
Jones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jones throwing strikes but missing. Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wagner to the mat! Wagner manages to get full guard. Jones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Wagner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Wagner blocks nicely. Jones stays in close to Wagner's body and controls the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wagner gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch. Jones decides to pull guard. Jones pulls Wagner in close to prevent any damage. Wagner trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones pulls Wagner in to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Wagner wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jones is controlling Wagner's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones has closed the distance and engaged Wagner in a clinch.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones wants the takedown. Wagner is fighting it off but Jones persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Wagner's guard against the cage. Wagner wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones stands and steps away. Wagner gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jones has managed to clinch.
Wagner looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. The referee is keeping an eye on Jones - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Wagner wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wagner tries to break free but Jones pushes him back against the cage. Jones leaning his opponent against the cage. Wagner is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now. Wagner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones has picked Wagner up - he's going for a ride! Jones dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Jones dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wagner manages to avoid it. Wagner appears to be looking for a big counter. Jones shoots in and bounces Wagner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jones engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jones gets to his feet. Wagner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wagner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wagner to the ground. Jones is now in Wagner's guard. Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Wagner is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea. Wagner looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jones passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there. Jones controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones moves into full mount! Wagner won't be happy about that! Jones controlling the pace for now. Jones manages to capitalize on a mistake by Wagner to take his back! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Wagner knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Wagner for a finish. Jones misses with an elbow to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Wagner's guard. Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Wagner's guard. Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Wagner has wrist control. Jones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wagner's guard. Jones drops an elbow to the side of Wagner's head. Jones is controlling the pace.
Jones is trying to work for a kimura but Wagner is defending well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones throwing shots but Wagner is blocking nicely. Jones stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Wagner to get to his feet. Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wagner has escaped the position, nice work there. Jones throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The ground and pound from Jones seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Jack Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
