The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judge throws a combination. Mclovin tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like John Mclovin has been cut.
Decent striking displayed by Mclovin there.
Mclovin avoids the body shot from Judge.
Judge throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mclovin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mclovin tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've been hearing reports that Judge has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Barney Judge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mclovin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mclovin showed some decent athleticism there.
Mclovin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
