Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Lindel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brah At Hammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindel comes to the cage accompanied by Clawfinger - Biggest & The Best . Brah At Hammed told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brah At Hammed!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
At Hammed cracks the inside of Lindel's front leg.
At Hammed pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A right-left combo lands from At Hammed.


It looks like Mikael Lindel has been cut.

Lindel gets caught napping as At Hammed dives in and scores a takedown. Lindel manages to retain guard.

Lindel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but At Hammed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

At Hammed had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lindel defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

At Hammed fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lindel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lindel wants it to stay on the feet.
Lindel misses with a body shot.
At Hammed is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Lindel with a body shot.
At Hammed throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
At Hammed uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lindel.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from At Hammed! But no joy.
Lindel blocks a head kick by At Hammed.

Mikael Lindel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lindel lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Good leg kick by At Hammed there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
At Hammed avoids the body shot from Lindel.

Lindel looks to land a right hand but At Hammed moved out of range.

Lindel lands a shot to the body.

Lindel lands with a short punch from the clinch.
At Hammed connects with a knee to the head.
A knee to the head by At Hammed.
Lindel lands a shot to the body.
Lindel digs a right hand underneath At Hammed's ribcage. At Hammed let out a lung full of air as it connected.
At Hammed looks winded!

Lindel works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Lindel looking to sit in guard and control but At Hammed gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Lindel looking for submissions from the bottom but instead At Hammed passes into side control.
At Hammed wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lindel keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lindel is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mikael Lindel will probably get the nod.

That's time! Lindel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lindel misses with a few strikes there.
At Hammed thinks about the counter body kick.

Lindel shoots in for a takedown but At Hammed shows good takedown defense.

At Hammed throws a nice looking combination but Lindel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
At Hammed fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lindel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lindel lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lindel.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lindel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but At Hammed moves away.

Lindel dives in and grabs At Hammed's left leg, looking for a takedown. At Hammed pushes down on Lindel's head and hops out.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
At Hammed dodges the punch combination from Lindel.

Lindel takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

At Hammed rushes Lindel and presses him up against the cage.
Lindel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

At Hammed pushes Lindel back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Oh Lindel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

At Hammed has Lindel tight in a Thai clinch... and there's a huge knee which drops Lindel to the floor. He's out cold!! I hope he's still got all his teeth!
