Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick Holohan!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velvet loads up on a big right hand but Holohan slips the punch.
Holohan shoots for a takedown but Velvet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Velvet throws a solid leg kick but Holohan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Velvet.
Nice takedown defense from Velvet. No joy for Holohan on that attempt.
Velvet was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Velvet throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Velvet lands a right hook to the body.
Velvet clinches with his opponent.
Holohan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Velvet's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Velvet lands with a right to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Velvet is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Velvet presses Holohan against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Velvet is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Anna Velvet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Holohan.
Holohan is looking to take this one to the mat.
Holohan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Velvet fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Velvet closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Velvet lands a hook that snaps the head of Holohan backwards.
Velvet lands a left hand that snaps the head of Holohan backwards.
Velvet lands with a left to the head.
Holohan is rocked!
Velvet creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Holohan with a big uppercut! Holohan tries to clinch up but Velvet pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Holohan to the mat! Holohan covers up and Velvet unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
