Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy McLarnin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Bill Uru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uru has chosen The Man - Aloe Blacc as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy McLarnin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Sonny Bill Uru! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uru fails in his attempt to clinch. Uru doesn't manage to clinch there - McLarnin circles away.
McLarnin swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Uru has taken the fight to the clinch.
Uru misses with a hook from the clinch. Uru tries to break free but McLarnin pushes him back against the cage. Uru manages to break the clinch.
Uru looks to throw the jab but McLarnin is out of range. Uru tries to bum rush McLarnin with a series of wild strikes but McLarnin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. It looked like McLarnin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Uru has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McLarnin is landing a low percentage of strikes. Uru throws the left hand but McLarnin avoids the punch easily. Uru pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McLarnin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Uru throws out the jab. Uru misses with a body shot.
McLarnin appears to be looking for a big counter. McLarnin looks to land a combination but Uru avoids it well. McLarnin lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Sonny Bill Uru has been cut. Uru tries to grapple but his opponent circles and McLarnin counters with a left and a right that hurts Uru! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! McLarnin jumps into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. McLarnin throws some wild stikes that Uru manages to avoid easily.
Uru is working to get back to half guard.
McLarnin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
McLarnin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McLarnin avoids the attempt from Uru to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Uru blocking the ground and pound. Uru is wriggling around trying to escape.
McLarnin thowing shots but they're missing. McLarnin lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uru is looking to get to half guard. Uru is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Uru tries to hold on but McLarnin pushes him away. Uru keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
McLarnin looking to control but Uru is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. McLarnin working the ground and pound effectively.
McLarnin landing shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uru tries to lock up and control but McLarnin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. McLarnin cracks Uru with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Uru can't escape the position.
McLarnin unloads with some shots from mount but Uru bucks and avoids them well.
McLarnin looking to ground and pound but Uru is blocking nicely. Uru takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. McLarnin landing shots from mount. Uru is squirming around, avoiding McLarnin's attempts to control the action. McLarnin is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! McLarnin extends the arm and Uru is forced to tap!
