Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Micky Oniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Wisdom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kurt Wisdom enters the cage!

With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kurt Wisdom!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oniel throws a series of strikes that have Wisdom backpedaling.
Oniel feints and then cracks Wisdom's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wisdom down.
Oniel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Wisdom moves into the clinch.
Wisdom tries to pull guard but Oniel holds him up against the cage and eventually Wisdom drops back down to his feet.
Oniel pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Oniel tries to break free but Wisdom pushes him back against the cage.

Oniel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wisdom misses with a takedown
letting Oniel counter with a right hand.
Oniel throws a combination. Wisdom tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

and Oniel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've been informed that Wisdom has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Micky Oniel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Wisdom.
Wisdom is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Oniel.

As Oniel backs off Wisdom throws a huge counter combo but Oniel manages to avoid it all.

Wisdom with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Oniel to score with a decent uppercut.

Oniel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Oniel counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wisdom thinking.
Oniel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wisdom takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oniel fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Micky Oniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wisdom is rocked!
Oniel works the jab nicely.
Wisdom is still on wobbly legs! Can Oniel finish him?
Wisdom finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Oniel's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Wisdom falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
