Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fritz Haarmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Burishkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haarmann comes to the cage accompanied by Macabre - Fritz Haarmann The Butcher . Burishkov has chosen Not a step back as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Viktor Burishkov enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fritz Haarmann! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Viktor Burishkov! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burishkov catches Haarmann with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nice jab there from Haarmann. Haarmann connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Burishkov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Haarmann. Burishkov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Haarmann napping and manages to drive through into side control! Burishkov wants to stand but Haarmann has his arm trapped. Burishkov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Haarmann manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Haarmann is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Burishkov pulls his head out easily. Haarmann looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Haarmann controlling the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haarmann looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Haarmann tries to roll over but Burishkov keeps him under control. Haarmann slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Haarmann has a closed guard, preventing Burishkov from standing up. Haarmann throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Burishkov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Burishkov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Haarmann is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Haarmann escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Burishkov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Burishkov is working Haarmann over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Burishkov wants to stand but Haarmann has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Haarmann tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burishkov throws a big right hand that misses. Haarmann keeping moving, preventing Burishkov from controlling successfully. Haarmann wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haarmann is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Burishkov defends well. Haarmann looking for a sweep. Not yet Haarmann, not yet. Haarmann is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Burishkov trying to control the position from guard on top but Haarmann is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Burishkov controlling from the top position. Burishkov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Haarmann, up you get! The fighters circling - Burishkov throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A little feinted left hand from Haarmann on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Burishkov closes the distance looking to clinch and Haarmann counters with a nice double leg into side control. Burishkov won't be happy with that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Burishkov is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Burishkov is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Haarmann is trying to get an arm triangle but Burishkov is defending well. Burishkov wants to get back to his feet but Haarmann drags him back down. Haarmann trying to control the position but Burishkov is working away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Haarmann wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Burishkov, who protects the arm well. Haarmann tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fritz Haarmann dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Haarmann can't find room to land a body shot as Burishkov controls the action.
Haarmann has Burishkov pressed against the cage, preventing Burishkov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Haarmann tries for a takedown but Burishkov manages to get underhooks.
Burishkov wants to break free but Haarmann has control.
Burishkov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Burishkov takes the fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burishkov tries to work over Haarmann's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Burishkov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Haarmann creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Burishkov has had enough of the clinch but Haarmann keeps him there for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burishkov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Haarmann lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Viktor Burishkov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A jab from Haarmann misses. Nice jab there from Haarmann. Burishkov misses with an uppercut
and Haarmann connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Burishkov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Haarmann napping and manages to drive through into side control! Haarmann is trying to control Burishkov's posture but Burishkov avoids it. Haarmann is trying to get back to half guard. Burishkov wants to stand but Haarmann is controlling his arm. Burishkov working away. Fritz Haarmann overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Haarmann manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Haarmann makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Haarmann. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Burishkov's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Burishkov wanted to stand there but Haarmann had control of the position. Haarmann had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Burishkov defends it easily. Burishkov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Haarmann's guard. Haarmann has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Burishkov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Haarmann has tightened it up now! Burishkov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Fritz Haarmann! In his post fight interview, Fritz Haarmann started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
