Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Browne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Lobas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Browne comes into the arena with Bloodsport for all !! blaring out of the sound system. Lobas has chosen Apex by REVOCATION as his entrance music. Andy Lobas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Browne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Lobas! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Lobas. Browne does a little dance to reset his feet. Browne defending well as Lobas loads up on a big left hand. Browne is looking to counter the offense by Lobas and move into the clinch. Lobas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Browne connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Browne moves out of range of the strikes. Lobas gets caught napping as Browne dives in and scores a takedown. Lobas manages to retain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Browne pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lobas is keeping the position for now. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lobas can do anything to dispel that myth. Lobas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Browne wants to pass the guard but Lobas is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lobas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Browne controls the pace. Lobas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Browne is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Browne wants to control but Lobas is keeping busy and won't allow it. Lobas not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lobas missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Browne moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Browne is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Browne lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Browne slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lobas is looking for a sweep. The referee asks Browne politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Browne prefers to stall for the moment though. Lobas on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Browne lands an elbow. Browne working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lobas is looking to regain half guard here but Browne keeps moving and retains side control. Browne tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Browne is chipping away with strikes.
Browne lands an elbow. Browne looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Browne landing a few strikes. Browne looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lobas can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lobas trying to remain calm as Browne controls from the top position. Browne lands a decent elbow from side control. Lobas takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Browne connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lobas some visible discomfort.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Browne trying to control the position but Lobas is working away. Browne in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Lobas looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Browne turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Browne! Simon Browne spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
