Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson misses with a double jab.
Weffart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Weffart misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jonson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jonson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Weffart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jonson tries to avoid it but Weffart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jonson to the ground. Jonson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Weffart shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jonson as he jumps to the side.
Weffart misses with a series of wild punches.
Weffart tries to clinch there but Jonson circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jonson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Weffart uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jonson.
Jonson throws a head kick that misses.
Weffart changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Jonson rushes Weffart and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Weffart scores with a shoulder strike.
Weffart is working for takedown but Jonson is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Weffart. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jonson lands an elbow inside.
Jonson has Weffart pressed against the cage, preventing Weffart from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Weffart wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jonson has him pressed against the cage.

Jonson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jonson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Weffart moves away.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Jonson.
Jonson misses with an attempted mid kick.
No luck for Weffart with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Weffart tries to clinch up
and Jonson counters with a stiff right hand.
Weffart is rocked!
Jonson connects with a superb combination that knocks Weffart out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Jonson before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Weffart!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jimmy Jonson!
