Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Jeff Gaarlandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emil Kovac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kovac comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stranger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaarlandt throws a good cross that connects.

No joy there for Gaarlandt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kovac lunges at Gaarlandt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gaarlandt's hand.

We've been told by Gaarlandt's head coaches at Warrior Dogs that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kovac fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Gaarlandt cracks Kovac with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gaarlandt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kovac.
Gaarlandt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kovac fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gaarlandt on the side of the head.
Gaarlandt's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gaarlandt duly obliges.

Gaarlandt appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Kovac walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kovac is rocked!
Kovac walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
