Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Orlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orlov comes to the cage accompanied by Daft Punk - Get Lucky. Alexander Orlov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Julian Reis's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Orlov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Julian Reis! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Orlov - that will leave a mark!
Orlov thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Reis if he has to take too many more of those.
Reis walks into a straight right hand from Orlov. Orlov chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Reis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Reis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Orlov counters with a thumping low kick. Reis drops his hands momentarily and Orlov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Julian Reis has been cut. Orlov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Reis. Orlov throws a head kick that half lands.
Reis is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Orlov connects with a leg kick. Reis looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Reis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Reis goes for a double leg but Orlov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Orlov continues to drive forward. Orlov jabs at Reis's body. Julian Reis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Orlov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Reis throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Reis fails with the takedown and Orlov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Alexander Orlov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian Reis.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis throws a head kick but Orlov moves out of range.
Reis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Orlov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Orlov thumps Reis with a low kick. Reis throws a combination that misses and Orlov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Orlov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Orlov thows a body kick. Reis tries to catch it but that hurt him. That kick from Orlov tenderised Reis's leg. Reis is trying to keep his angry face on. Orlov connects with an inside leg kick. Orlov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Orlov lands with a nice body punch. Reis has his takedown stuffed and Reis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Orlov scores with a leg kick.
Orlov lands with an overhand left. Orlov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Reis is still on wobbly legs! Can Orlov finish him? Orlov is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orlov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Reis seems to have recovered his senses. Orlov throws a front kick that sends Reis stumbling back into the cage. Reis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Reis looks to clinch and Orlov counters with a huge head kick that drops Reis! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Orlov! Alexander Orlov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
