Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jax Briggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abe Babe!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs ducks right into an uppercut from Babe.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Briggs crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Babe - the referee stops the clock and Briggs gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Babe. Briggs manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Abe Babe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Babe throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Babe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Briggs was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Briggs throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Babe misses with a body kick.
Briggs half committed to a counter leg kick.
Briggs avoids the body shot from Babe.
A jab from Briggs finds it's way through Babe's defenses.
Briggs slips a jab from Babe.
Some bone on bone action there as Briggs checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Babe throws a head kick that misses
and Briggs moves into the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Babe.
Babe misses with the head strike.
Briggs tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Babe's elbow.
Briggs has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Briggs lands a left hand that snaps the head of Babe backwards.

Babe is rocked!
Briggs throws a big uppercut that drops Babe! More strikes from Briggs and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Babe lies dazed against the cage as Briggs celebrates with his cornermen!
