Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Hauser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Hauser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hector Harris! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hauser attempts a counter takedown but Harris avoids it well and moves away. Harris has Hauser up against the cage in a clinch.
Harris slowing the pace effectively. Hauser tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Hauser has a couple of punches blocked by Harris.
Hauser wants to get back to striking at distance but Harris won't allow it.
Hauser misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Harris looking to stall.
Hauser misses with some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hauser has had enough of the clinch but Harris keeps him there for the moment. Harris pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hauser feints and as Harris raises his hands in defense, Hauser changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hauser distracts Harris with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hauser trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hauser with a nice head shot there. Hauser tries to free his leg and advance position but Harris is retaining full guard. Harris keeping moving, preventing Hauser from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hauser loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hauser postures up.
Hauser is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hauser scoring with some ground and pound. Hauser trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom. Hauser sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris is trying to keep Hauser in close.
Hauser is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Harris is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Harris instigates a clinch. Harris wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hauser has him pressed against the cage. Hauser tries to work over Harris's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Harris on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Harris throws a head kick but Hauser moves out of range.
Hauser seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Harris is looking to clinch. Hauser shoots in looking for a takedown but Harris manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hauser's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Harris looks like he wants to counter punch here. Harris on the wrong end of a nice jab. Harris fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hauser misses with a head kick.
Harris tries to clinch there but Hauser circles away.
Hauser lands a head shot. Harris walks into a left hand. Hector Harris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hauser misses with a takedown attempt - Harris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hauser paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hauser half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Harris forces Hauser back against the cage and clinches. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A quick uppercut on the inside from Harris. Harris prevents a body shot from Hauser.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hauser keeps the fight on the outside. Hauser throws a poor cross that misses
and Harris counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Harris fails in his attempt to clinch. Hauser misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Harris.
Harris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hauser. Harris lands a left and a right that send Hauser crashing to the mat, dazed. Harris thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hauser is rocked!
It looks like Carl Hauser has been cut. Harris lands with a big right hook that stumbles Hauser - he's out on his feet here! Harris follows up with another monster hook that separates Hauser from consciousness! Hauser falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Harris stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hector Harris!
